Paul Rivers

Paul Rivers is the Chief Information Security Officer at the University of California, Berkeley. Paul has 22 years of experience in information technology and security, in both educational and corporate environments. Paul is responsible for developing and implementing the information security strategy for the campus, including campus-level risk assessments, security policy, compliance, security reviews of contracts and data use agreements, system assessments, pen testing, and security operations for detecting and responding to incidents. Paul also oversees the identity and access management strategy and operations for the campus.
