Christopher Groskopf is Deputy Editor for Interactives and Graphics at FiveThirtyEight. In this role he oversees a team of journalists using data, data visualization and statistics to cover politics, sports and whatever else the news throws at us. He has more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of journalism and technology, including stints at the Chicago Tribune, NPR, Quartz and the technology startup Enigma. He is the the creator of the popular csvkit library for manipulating data, author of The Quartz Guide to Bad Data and the co-founder of local news startup The Tyler Loop. He lives in Oakland, CA.
