Juergen Urbanski is the Vice President Growth at Silicon Valley Data Science. As the former CTO for Deutsche Telekom’s $12 billion enterprise services division, he is passionate about ensuring enterprise customer success with and generating revenue growth from emerging technologies. He brings particular expertise in driving a digital transformation for the business powered by big data, cloud and digital marketing. At Deutsche Telekom, he built out a high-performing 62 FTE CTO function from scratch. Juergen enjoys acting as a trusted advisor at CXO level to ensure enterprises are realizing maximum value from their investments in big data & analytics. His personal journey over the last 20 years covers the entire IT life cycle from strategy to development, deployment, procurement and outsourcing. Working for McKinsey, Microsoft, SAP, NetApp and Deutsche Telekom, he has picked up the skills that make the difference between success or failure of large-scale IT change initiatives. He obtained his MBA from the Wharton School.
