We'll start with a whirlwind tour of what Hadoop is, its core technologies and the ecosystem that supports it. We'll then discuss the practice of data science use and how Hadoop supports it. You'll become familiar with Hadoop's key concepts and terms, but you might also learn why you too want to become a data scientist.
